Bishop Derrick L. McRae and Lady Taja C. McRae serve as the leaders of The Experience Christian Center in Orlando, Florida. Together, they are dedicated to empowering people through faith, service, and community impact.

Bishop Derrick L. McRae launched The Experience Christian Center in 2009. Under his leadership, the church has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving ministry that impacts lives weekly and extends its reach throughout the community through meaningful outreach efforts. He is a respected pastor, motivational speaker, strategist, and civic leader who holds a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University. Bishop McRae also serves as President of the African American Council of Christian Clergy and continues to serve in various civic and mentoring roles that strengthen both faith and community.

Lady Taja C. McRae is an educator, counselor, and Certified Professional Coach with over 25 years of service in Orange County Public Schools. She founded F.I.R.E. (Favor in Rare Essence), the church’s women’s ministry, and is known for her passion for mentoring and helping women live at their fullest potential. She holds degrees in Rehabilitation Services, Nursing, and Counseling and Psychology.

Together, they are the proud parents of Brailon, Derrick II, and Kayla, and continue to lead with humility, love, and a commitment to spiritual and personal growth.
